Nuka was started by Nadia Kruger - talented singer-songwriter that performed solo in previous years before she gathered a group of friends together thatnow join her in making music. They eat, create, socialize and share life’s ups and downs - together. “The music we make together - is just an out flowing of that thing called life.”They draw inspiration from all things bright an beautiful as-well as the dark days in life - therefore the music is honest and appealing.The Influences are diverse. Nadia says she grew up with a house full of music and artists like Simon and Garfunkel, Sting & Police,Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, Sheryl crow, U2, Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash , Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens,Nick Drake and Josh Garrels have left a lasting impression on her.The track “Tale for two” was born out of a spontaneous jam in Nadia’s room one night. It’s about love and how love is designed to beshared between two lovers/friends/companions. It’s about the journey that love takes us on and the lessons we learn along the way.Nuka has many more songs and interesting projects up the sleeve.
